The Ponderosa Invitational Meet (meet announcement) is June 20–21 at Cy-Fair ISD Natatorium. This is a special, end-of-season meet for swimmers who have made Ponderosa qualifying times.

Important Registration Deadlines

Registration opens: Saturday, June 6 at 6:00 PM. Team deadline: Saturday, June 13 at 6:00 PM. Please register early so we can finish entries, confirm payments, and build relays before the host’s deadline.

What is Ponderosa? A fun, fast-paced championship meet for top swimmers who qualified.

Qualifying Times- Swimmers must have an official time from a dual or invitational meet.

Reminder: You’ll be required to help with timing or volunteering. This does not count toward your regular BBST volunteer credit.

Note: Exact session and warm-up times will be confirmed by the host.

How to Register

1. Register your swimmer using SwimTopia. Check the boxes for the events your swimmer has qualified for. (No checkbox = not qualified for that event)

2. Bonus Events- NEW THIS YEAR

Swimmers with 1 hard-cut qualifying time may enter up to 2 bonus events if they have achieved the bonus qualifying times.

Swimmers with 2 hard-cut qualifying times may enter 1 bonus event if they have achieved the bonus qualifying time.

Swimmers with 3 or more hard-cut qualifying times are not eligible for bonus event entries.

3. Meet Costs: $12.50 per individual event (paid by parents) Payment due by Saturday, June 13 at 6:00 PM. Pay here: BBST Invitationals Payments - Be sure to include your swimmer’s last name with your payment. Swimmers will NOT be entered into the meet until payment is received. Relay fees are covered by BBST.

Volunteers Needed- Families will be expected to fulfill volunteer shifts for this meet, and those shifts do NOT count toward regular season volunteer requirements. Invitational meets are optional and are considered above and beyond dual meet commitments.

Additional Volunteer Policy Reminder: If your swimmer participates in a Mid-Season and/or End-of-Season Invitational and you are assigned a volunteer shift, you must complete that shift. Failure to do so will result in a $25 charge per missed shift, deducted from your volunteer deposit or charged to the card on file, up to the $50 Invitational maximum. Additional violations may result in further penalties as outlined in the full Volunteer Policy.

Attending Both Ponderosa and Red, White & Blue? Please proceed with caution. The meets happen at different locations with overlapping times on Saturday and Sunday. Doing both will be extremely difficult, and there are no refunds if you register and can't attend.

Reminder: Swimmers may NOT be on deck or enter any individual or relay event at RWB if they have a Ponderosa-qualifying time in that stroke or event. Doing so could result in team-wide disqualifications. Please follow this rule strictly.
