Hi, I am Coach Mercedes! I was born in Montana but moved to Texas as quickly as I could! After competing in my first summer league meet with the Wortham White Sharks in 2000, I knew I'd always have a love for swimming! I was a part of the Swimming and Water Polo teams at Cy-Fair High-School. Then, I moved on to further my education at WGU where I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Special Education. I spent 4 years teaching in the Special Education department at Cypress Ranch High-School where I was the assistant swim/water polo coach. I am currently a Regional Manager for HYROX, a Fitness Racing Company as well as a water polo coach for Hydra.

I have an 11 year old son, Aiden, who will be swimming as a Barracuda as well! I was an assistant Cuda Coach from 2015-2018, the head assistant coach in 2021 and this will be my third year as a head coach for the Cudas. Ya'll are truly my second family and there is no where else I would rather spend my Saturdays in the summer! We are so excited to be a part of this amazing team again and looking forward to watching so many amazing races!

Hi Cudas, I am Coach Wyatt and this will be my fourth summer working with y’all! I was born in Houston, Texas and began my swim career on the Kleinwood Dolphins summer team. I later joined the Cudas in 2009, staying until I graduated in 2020. I was also on the swim and water polo teams for Cy-Ranch HS. I graduated from Sam Houston State University in Fall 2023 with a degree in English and Education. I am now teaching ELAR at Sprague MS and pursuing an M.A. in English at SHSU.

I am excited to continue to be a part of this amazing team that I grew up on and I look forward to another amazing season! BOOM CUDA BOOM!

I have been an active swimmer all my life. I swam all of high school. I was also involved in summer league swim where I grew up at Memorial Forest, where I also was a coach until I left for college. I have been a teacher for the last 11 years, currently at Warner Elementary. I am so excited to get back into coaching summer league swim!!!! 

I grew up in Cypress and joined my first summer league swim team at the age of 4. I swam for Fleet for 9 years and then went on to swim for the University of Texas. During college, I coached a summer league swim team for 3 years. I currently live in Bridgeland with my three children. I love the sport of swimming and am excited to share her knowledge and passion with the Barracudas!

Hey, my name is Coach Trey, and this will be my first summer coaching the Bridgeland Barracuda’s. I was born in Cypress, Texas and never left. At the age of 4 in 2009 I started swimming for the Cudas and didn’t stop until 2023 when I turned 18. I also swam for Bridgeland high school all four years where I was a state qualifier my junior and senior year. I just finished my first year at Texas A&M in the Corps of Cadets and the Fightin Texas Aggie band, studying sports management. I’m super excited to meet everyone and get back on the pool deck!

Hi cudas! My name is Coach Brooke and this will be my first summer coaching with Bridgeland! I grew up swimming, starting on this very team as a 6u. Over the past 13 years, I have been a part of several different teams including the Bridgeland Barracudas, Fleet, and Bridgeland High School's Varsity Team. I am currently pursuing a Marketing degree at the University of Arkansas but am excited to be back for the summer. I can't wait to share my love for this sport with my home team! See you on deck!

Hi Cudas!! I am Coach Reagan, and this will be my first year coaching with Bridgeland! I have been in the pool since I could walk, including this pool. I have been on this team for 11 years and have been helping with the 6 & unders since I was 13. I have been a part of several different swim teams, including high school and club. I am currently going to Texas State University for Human Development and Family Sciences to become a Child Therapist. I am so excited to return this summer! See you on the pool deck!
