BBST Scholarship Information due June 14th

The Bridgeland Barracudas Swim Team (BBST) Board of Directors is proud to award the Mark Braswell Memorial Senior Scholarship to qualified candidate(s) each swim season. Applicants must meet the minimum qualification criteria, terms, & conditions stated below to be considered. The scholarship is dependent on available funds each season which is donated by sponsors and/or could be raised by the team through individual swimmer fundraising.

Minimum Qualification Criteria:

1.Swimmer must have been a member of the Bridgeland Barracudas for a minimum period of 3 years, having served the final two seasons consecutively. The 2020 season does not count as a missing year of eligibility. If the last 2 years were not served consecutively, then the swimmer must have been a member of the team for a minimum of 5 years.

2.Swimmer must be a resident of Bridgeland and/or retain team membership qualification per the authorized ‘grandfathered family’ list, as approved by the Bridgeland HOA.

3.Swimmer must be a graduating High School Senior during the season in which the Scholarship is awarded (or in their final year of age eligibility per NWAL rules).

4.Swimmer must not have received an official Disqualification (DQ) for unsportsmanlike conduct during their final season.
